La Tomatina is a party that takes place in the municipality of Buñol, Valencia (Spain) and is celebrated on the last Wednesday of August, coinciding with the week of the patron saint of the city.

But the Tomatina is not the typical Patronal party, since its main attraction is that the participants throw tomatoes to each other!

Such is the success of this celebration that has been declared in 2002 Festival of International Tourist Interest.
